The Mindfulness Association is a company that has been set up at the request of Rob Nairn to deliver secular mindfulness training. It is a non-profit making organisation with altruistic aims directed towards sharing the benefits of mindfulness with all of those who are interested.
Our objectives are to offer high quality trainings in Mindfulness, Compassion and Insight which help people to establish a regular and effective mindfulness practice and which help people to bring mindfulness into all aspect of their daily lives.
We aim to make our trainings accessible to as many people as possible and in particular we try to keep the prices of our courses affordable and to offer our courses at different locations around the UK and in Europe.
We also offer a comprehensive training pathway towards the teaching of Mindfulness with the aim of meeting the growing demand within the UK for mindfulness teachers.
I am very pleased to say that I have completed a number of courses and retreats with the association and a m a member of the online sangha.
I highly recommend this organisation if you are looking to learn about mindfulness and compassion.

Sarah runs the excellent 8-week mindfulness based stress reduction programme (MBSR) in New Mills. This can be positively life-changing and is the programme that Jon Kabbat Zinn and colleagues devised in the 1990s and is the best introduction to mindfulness practice for those who have not had any previous experience.
As well as the normal 8-week course Sarah also runs the course over 3 Saturdays, one day a month in Bakewell.
If you’re in need of some exercise and want to get fit then why not join a jogging group for an uplifting challenge with an expert instructor supporting you all the way.
