Natural awakening: a programme of mindfulness, yoga, meditation and self-compassion
Facilitators Annette Boden MSc Integrative Hypno-psychotherapist and ‘Trained Mindful Self-Compassion teacher’ , and Summer Phillips BAPgC SYT Senior yoga teacher have joined together to bring you unique and uplifting one day workshops and well-being retreats incorporating mind, body and emotional well-being.
We bring together a culmination of over 17 years of training and expertise to share with you a programme to lift your energy levels, health and well-being physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
The practices of mindfulness, yoga, meditation, and self-compassion are being brought together in a culmination of exercises that will refresh, replenish and rejuvenate.
You will learn techniques that can be then practiced in daily life to restore balance and harmony, regardless of what level your practices are at presently. They are simple and effective with proven results based on sound research.
Disclaimer: Please note our ‘Natural awakening’ programme is not psychological therapy and does not replace orthodox medical care you may be currently undertaking. It is not suitable for those undergoing intensive psychological therapy.

Summer and I feel so privileged to be able to share our love of all things mindful, natural, and awakening within, every time we work together the roots of growth becoming more deeply planted as we evolve on our path.
Our Castleton weekend retreat was a huge success and we are thankful to everyone who attended and brought such beautiful energy and open-hearted kindness. We are busy putting together our plans for the year ahead. This will include a series of day workshops and retreats.

A compassionate note
As Summer and I want you to get the most out of workshops and retreats- we want the very best for you! We would like to emphasise that our ‘Natural awakening’ day workshops and weekend retreats are a combination of yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and self-compassion practices. They are not a replacement for psychological therapies and we do not offer psychological intervention as such.
‘Natural awakening may not be for you if If you have recently received or are currently receiving treatment from a psychiatrist, psychotherapist or counsellor for an ongoing mental health problem. Also, if you have recently or are currently going through a traumatic life event, this may not be the right time for you to attend our workshops or the intensive weekend retreats.
This very much depends on your current psychological health and the support networks that you have around you, such as friends, family and mental health professionals.
We can advise more or let you know when you get in touch for more information/ are thinking about booking a place.
The workshops and retreats are concerned with personal development and well-being and learning skills and techniques to enhance the quality of your life and deepen your practices.
