THIS POWERFUL AND TRANSFORMATIONAL COURSE IS
DESIGNED TO HELP YOU:
- Manage the physical symptoms of anxiety & stress and bring them under control
- Help you sleep better
- Think more positively
- Pick up techniques to reduce stress & anxiety in your daily life
- Learn deep relaxation & mindfulness techniques and approaches that will improve your quality of life
- Experience the combined benefits of positive psychology, a compassion-focused psychological approach to well-being, mindfulness, deep relaxation, meditation & self-compassion exercises
Sessions at a glance:
Week 1: Addressing the basics – anxiety management – a little bit of science; a gentle introduction to mindfulness and meditation.
Week 2: Work-life balance – a positive approach; Recovering from setbacks; an introduction to mindful self-compassion practice and challenging the inner critic- building emotional resilience.
Week 3: Working with our natural rhythms – Sleeping well. Sleep hygiene and effective strategies for maintaining a healthy sleep pattern; Nutritional and physical wellbeing – a compassion –focused approach. Deep relaxation practice.
Week 4: Living positively – increasing life satisfaction: savouring the good- gratitude and appreciation managing challenging emotions; meeting ‘unmet’ needs. The Beechwood life plan- bringing it all together.
The course fee of £150 is payable in advance. The fee includes all refreshments and learning materials, and inter-session online/telephone support if required.

We are endeavouring to offer an ongoing group practice and maintenance session after completion of the course where you can come back on a monthly basis for practice and motivation! This is something we will talk about during the course.
