The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council - CNHC
CNHC is the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners.

Its key function is to enhance public protection by setting standards for registration with CNHC. The CNHC ‘quality mark' is being recognised as the hallmark of quality for the sector. This means that the general public, and those who commission the services of complementary healthcare practitioners, will be able to choose with confidence by looking for the CNHC quality mark.
The Department of Health recommends that, where CNHC registers the professional discipline in question, you consult with someone who is CNHC registered.

The clinical register of advanced hypnotherapists -CRAH
The purpose of the Clinical Register of Advanced Hypnotherapists (CRAH) is to promote the art and science of hypnotherapy for the public benefit; to promote research and education in hypnotherapy and disseminate the results of any such research as well as to promote high standards of training and practice in hypnotherapy for the public benefit.
CRAH is a supporter of UKCHO (UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations), an umbrella body for the hypnotherapy profession in the United Kingdom. UKCHO has a mission to ensure that standards of conduct, ethics and practice are appropriate for public safety and also maintains the Public National Register of Hypnotherapists.
CRAH is committed to maintaining a high standard of professionalism amongst its members, all of whom are fully covered by hypnotherapist's professional indemnity insurance and committed to ongoing training. It is only possible to join the Register and the hypnotherapists directory via invitation or evidence of successful training by an accredited hypnotherapy school.
